We've seen and heard time and again the negative ramification of the "Adobification" of softwares. The complete absorption of the Substance brand in Adobe is simply a spit in the face to their legacy users and those who despise Adobe for their customer-unfriendly practices. Since then, I've been happily paying my monthly, but today's announcement changed it. I actually saw that as a good thing, more money and more man-power to develop a greater and better tool to compete against Quixel. ![]() A couple of years back when Substance was bought by Adobe, I thought nothing of it. I was impressed by the capabilities of the software back in the day and still am to this day. I've been an avid Substance user for almost 5 years now.
